Before accepting any entrant’s fee, all operators shall provide to each entrant a written document in at least ten-point type clearly containing only the following information: (1) Name, address, and telephone number of the operator; (2) Name, address, and telephone number of the individual or officer of the organization having full responsibility for the conducting of the pageant; (3) Names of pageants customarily promoted by the operator; (4) Name and address of individual authorized to accept service of process; (5) Name, address, and telephone number of the financial institution in which the entrants’ fees are held; (6) Name, address, and telephone number of the surety company maintaining the bond required by Code Section 10-1-832; and (7) A statement which reads as follows: “The State of Georgia requires bonding or escrow of pageants conducted for the profit of operators.” History.
