Majority of votes constitutes act of membership

(a) Unless this chapter, the articles, or the bylaws require a greater vote or voting by class, if a quorum is present, the affirmative vote of a majority of the votes cast is the act of the members. (b) A bylaw amendment to increase or decrease the vote required for any member action must be approved by the members. (Code 1981, § 14-3-723, enacted by Ga. L. 1991, p. 465, § 1.)
