Written procedures; training

The office shall recommend, and the State Board of Education shall adopt, written procedures for conducting on-site audits under this part. The office shall make the procedures available to the schools, school councils, local boards of education, and the public. Office staff shall be trained in audit procedures and shall follow such procedures in conducting the audit. (Code 1981, § 20-14-36, enacted by Ga. L. 2000, p. 618, § 93; Ga. The Office of Student Achievement shall develop and the State Board of Education shall approve a Georgia schools awards system to recognize those schools and school systems that demonstrate progress or success in achieving the education goals of the state and achieving excellence on the school rating system as provided for in Code Section 20-14-33.
