Direction of traffic by designated personnel

Any person who is designated by a local law enforcement agency as set forth in Code Section 35-1-11 shall be authorized to direct and 855 20-2-1160 regulate the flow of traffic at school crossings or within a reduced speed school zone during the time when he or she is on duty.
