(a) This Code section shall be known and may be cited as the “Educating Children of Military Families Act.” (b) The Department of Education is authorized to establish a unique identifier for each student: (1) Whose parent or guardian is an active duty military service member in the armed forces of the United States; and (2) Whose parent is a member of a reserve component of the armed forces of the United States or the National Guard in a manner that will allow for disaggregation of data for each category. 508 20-2-324.3 ELEMENTARY & SECONDARY EDUC.
