State policy

It is declared to be the policy of the state, as a part of the provisions for public education, to promote the establishment of public library service throughout the state. (Ga. L. 1943, p. 385, § 3; Ga. L. 2000, p. 618, § 85.) Editor’s notes. — Ga. L. 2000, p. 618, § 1, not codified by the General Assembly, provides: ‘‘This Act shall be known and may be cited as the ‘A Plus Education Reform Act of 2000.’ ’’
