(a) Any person who violates any provision of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of a high and aggravated nature and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not less than $1,500.00 nor more than $5,000.00, imprisonment for a period not exceeding 12 months, or both such fine and imprisonment. (b) Any licenses or permits issued under this title to any person convicted of violating any provision of this article shall by operation of 180 27-3-185 law be revoked and shall not be reissued for a period of three years.
