L. 1993, p. 1744, § 2, not codified by the General Assembly, provided: ‘‘This Act shall become effective July 1, 1993, and shall apply on and after such date for all new or newly admitted societies. For societies admitted prior to July 1, 1993, this Act shall apply on and after January 1, 1994.’’
