O.C.G.A. § 43-29-21

Any person who shall practice the trade or occupation of dispensing optician, as defined in this chapter, without first complying with this chapter or who shall violate any of the Code sections of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, 912 43-29-22 shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500.00 or by imprisonment of not more than six months in the county jail, or both.
