The land which may be acquired by condemnation under and by virtue of this Code section and Code Sections 50-16-104, 50-16-106, and 50-16-107 for the construction of a track or tracks shall not exceed 200 feet in width. In the event the Western and Atlantic Railroad is unable to obtain title to real estate or other property from the owner or owners thereof by contract, lease, or purchase, it may obtain such title by condemnation, the rights to be acquired by it and the amount of compensation to be paid by it therefor to be assessed and determined in the manner provided in Parts 2 through 5 of Article 1 of Chapter 2 of Title 22.
