Uniform construction

In applying and construing this article, consideration shall be given to the need to promote uniformity of the law with respect to its subject matter among states that enact the ‘‘Uniform Foreign-Country Money Judgments Recognition Act.’’ (Code 1981, § 9-12-118, enacted by Ga.
