Qualification

An applicant for a nursing home administrator license shall apply to the Board of Licensure on forms provided by the Board. The applicant shall submit: (a) proof of age; (b) proof of physical and emotional capability to administer the nursing home; (c) a notarized copy of a diploma, or evidence satisfactory to the Board of having successfully completed an accredited course of study or training as a nursing home or health administrator, approved by the Board (The program shall consist of both theory and practical experience.); and (d) have a personal interview with the Board, as requested.
