Requirements for Approval of Training Programs

(a) Anesthesiologist Assistant programs approved and recognized by the Board must hold full accreditation or provisional (initial) accreditation from the Committee on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), or its successor. (b) The Board may provide for, by regulation, any and all additional requirements deemed necessary to ensure an appropriate, high standard of training and competence are met and maintained. 2017 NOTE: Subsection designations added pursuant to the authority of 1 GCA § 1606.
