(a) Licensed physician assistants shall be graduates of programs approved by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or its successor. (b) Licensed physician assistants must have passed a proficiency examination developed by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), or its successor.
