How Long May Be Suspended

21 GCA § 1265 — under Property in General.

21 GCA § 1265

Except in the single case mentioned in § 3112, the absolute power of alienation cannot be suspended by any limitation or condition whatever, for a longer period than as follows: (a) During the continuance of the lives of persons in being at the creation of the limitation or condition; or (b) For a period not to exceed twenty-five (25) years from the time of the creation of the suspension.
