(a) The Department of Revenue and Taxation in its discretion, may grant a temporary permit to operate a vehicle for which application for registration has been made, where such application is accompanied by the proper fee pending action upon the application by the Department. (b) Fees. The Department of Revenue and Taxation is authorized to charge temporary permit fees as follows: (1) Temporary Permit A $ 5.00 (2) Temporary Permit B $10.00 SOURCE: GC § 23303, enacted by P.L. 1-088 (Nov. 29, 1952).
