Qualifications of Members of the Board of Regents

The composition of the members of the Board shall be broadly based in terms of its members’ personal expertise and shall strive for a balanced representation of the general population. Regents, and Regent candidates, must be United States citizens or permanent resident aliens domiciled in Guam for at least three (3) years prior to appointment to the Board. No person shall sit on the Board as a member who is an employee of the government of Guam or of the University of Guam. SOURCE: Added as § 16104.2 by P.L. 17-055:3 (June 11, 1984).
