License.

The Board shall administer examinations for a license as an electrologist during a Board meeting duly held for the purpose of administering examinations for applicants who have made the proper applications for such license, and who have qualified as follows: (a) who is not less than eighteen (18) years of age; and (b) who has had one (1) of the following: (1) completed a certified electrology program of at least five hundred (500) hours extending over a school year of not less than four (4) months in electrolysis from a school approved by the Board; (2) practiced electrolysis, as defined in this Chapter, for a period of eighteen (18) months outside of Guam within the time equivalent to the study and training of a qualified person who has completed a course in electrolysis from a school curriculum of which complied with requirements adopted by the Board; or (3) holds a valid electrology license issued by a State or territory of the United Sates whose license requirements in the judgment of the Board are equal to or greater than Guam’s. 2023 NOTE: Reference to “Territory” replaced with “Guam” pursuant to 1 GCA § 420. 2017 NOTE: Subsection/subitem designations deleted/altered pursuant to the authority of 1 GCA § 1606.
