Community Service. Schools are permitted, but not required, to offer to their students an opportunity to earn credit hours for cosmetology- related field trips, seminars, workshops, shows, and community service, as follows: (a) up to forty (40) hours for cosmetology students; (b) up to fifteen (15) hours for manicuring students; (c) up to twenty (20) hours for esthetics students; and (d) up to twenty (20) hours for instructor students.
