Teacher Corps Scholarships for Those With Prior

Baccalaureate Degree. (a) The Educator Corps Council may award Teacher Corps scholarships to individuals possessing a baccalaureate degree in a course of study other than education for the purpose of meeting teacher certification requirements. (b) The scholarships awarded under this Section shall be based on the recruitment needs of the Department of Education/Guam Community College and shall be limited to a period of time not to exceed two (2) years. (c) The stipend for such applicants shall be the same as a junior and senior under the provisions of § 18202(b) of this Article for the first and second years of study respectively. 2015 NOTE: Subsection designations were added to adhere to the Compiler’s codification scheme in accordance with the authority granted by 1 GCA § 1606.
