Upon recommendation of the Historic Preservation Review Board, the Governor may declare by executive order historic landmarks, structures or objects located on lands owned or controlled by the government to be territorial monuments. SOURCE: GC § 13985.21 enacted by P.L. 12-126 (May 3, 1974), andR/R by P.L. 20-151:11 (Mar. 21, 1990). Public Law 25-069:9 (July 8, 1999) repealed P.L. 20-151:11. However, P.L. 25-069:9 (July 8, 1999) was itself repealed by P.L. 25-072:IV:13(c) (Sept. 30, 1999), which reverted the repeal and reenactment of P.L. 20-151:11.
