The Board shall promulgate rules and regulations prior to the granting of any award under this Chapter. Notwithstanding 5 GCA § 9303 (c), said rules and regulations shall be effective upon filing with the Legislative Secretary in accordance with 5 GCA § 9303 (a) and (b).

Repealed and added as a new Chapter 15, Title 4 GCA by P.L. 23- 111:1 (July 26, 1996), and moved by the Compiler to Article 9, Chapter 15, Title 17 GCA. Recodified as Article 5, Chapter 28. 2019 NOTE: Pursuant to P.L. 31-237:3 (Dec. 6, 2012), after Award Year 2012-2013, financial assistance awards under Chapter 15 of Title 17 GCA would be granted only as provided by Chapter 28. Because 17 GCA § 28404 mandated that awards under the “Doc Sanchez” program would continue, Article 9 was moved by the Compiler and recodified as a new Article 5 to Chapter 28, pursuant to the authority of 1 GCA § 1606.
