Special Pay for Prosecutors

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, attorneys serving as prosecutors shall be entitled to special pay, calculated at the rate of their regular wage plus fifteen percent (15%). The Office of the Attorney General shall provide special pay to all attorneys serving as prosecutors in the Office of the Attorney General. SOURCE: Added by P.L. 36-107:XII:47 (Sept. 12, 2022). 2024 NOTE: P.L. 36-107:XII:47 (Sept. 12, 2022) stated: “For Fiscal Year 2023, the special pay for prosecutors pursuant to this Section shall be paid utilizing the appropriations to the Office of the Attorney General in the General Appropriations Act of 2023.”
