Teachers employed by the Department of Education who are members of the reserve components of the Department of Defense or Transportation, including, but not limited to the United States Army, the United States Navy, the United States Marine Corps, the United States Air Force, the Army National Guard, the Air National Guard and the United States Coast Guard, shall be eligible to participate in the leave sharing program established by 4 GCA, § 4109.2 and implemented by 4 GCA, § 4109.3. Such additional leave acquired through leave sharing may be used solely for leave required for military training or active duty. SOURCE: Added by P.L. 27-158:2 (Dec. 30, 2004).
