Financial assistance may be awarded by the AMTE Council to eligible students enrolled in the Pre-Medical Program at the University who are: (a) Bona fide residents of Guam for at least ten (10) years; (b) Citizens or permanent residents of the United States; (c) Seniors or graduates of an accredited high school with an overall grade point average of not less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; (d) Admitted to the University of Guam in accordance with its admission policies, including advance placement for high school students;

(e) Agreed and bound to return to Guam to practice medicine or work in a health service field after successfully completing his or her medical training.
