Exceptions

Consent shall not be required under § 4A102 or § 4A103 of this Act if: (a) the attending physician certifies in the patient’s medical record that a medical emergency exists and there is insufficient time to obtain the required consent; or (b) consent is waived under § 4A107 of this Chapter.
