Assistant General Manager: Operations and Technical Support

The General Manager, with the consent of the Board, may appoint an Assistant General Manager for Operations and Technical Support, who shall serve at the pleasure of the General Manager. (a) The Assistant General Manager for Operations and Technical Support shall be entitled to receive compensation as recommended by the General Manager, and approved by the Board. (b) Such Assistant General Manager shall devote his entire time to the business of the Authority and shall have full charge and control, subject to the direction of the General Manager, of all operations, engineering and technical services pertaining to the generation, storage, collection, transportation, processing, recycling, resource recovery or disposal of solid waste. (c) Such Assistant General Manager shall have such other duties as may be designated by the General Manager.
