9 GCA § 55.30

A person commits a misdemeanor if he falsely pretends to hold a position in the public service with intent to induce another to submit to such pretended official authority or otherwise to act in reliance upon that pretense to his prejudice. COMMENT: Section 55.30 replaces former § 146(a) of the Penal Code and extends criminal liability to the impersonation of any public servant, not just policemen or law enforcement officials.
