7 GCA § 6115

(a) Any retired Judge or Justice may be designated and assigned by the Chief Justice to perform such judicial duties in the Courts of Guam as he or she is willing to undertake, except that retired Judges shall only perform such duties in the Superior Court of Guam. (b) No retired Judge or Justice shall perform judicial duties except when designated and assigned. (c) All designations and assignments of Judges or Justices shall be filed with the Clerk of the Court and entered on the minutes of the Court from and to which made. (d) A retired Judge designated and assigned by the Chief Justice to perform judicial duties shall be referred to as a Judge pro tempore. (e) A retired Justice designated and assigned by the Chief Justice to perform judicial duties shall be referred to as a Justice pro tempore. 1985 SOURCE: CCP § 81.5 (P.L. 12-198).
