Purposes

The purposes of this Article are to provide authorization whereby the ecosystem upon which resident endangered or threatened species depend may be protected and conserved; to develop and provide a program for the conservation and management of such endangered and/or threatened species; and, to take such steps and measures as may be appropriate to achieve the purposes of the Endangered Species Act of 1973, U.S.P.L.
