Persons Not Required to Register

9 GCA § 67.605

(a) The following persons shall not be required to register under the provisions of this Section and may lawfully possess a controlled substance: (1) an agent or employee of any importer or exporter registered under § 67.606 of this Act if such agent or employee is acting in the usual course of his business or employment; (2) a common or contract carrier or warehouseman or an employee thereof whose possession of any controlled substance is in the usual course of his business or employment; or (3) an ultimate user who possesses such substance for a purpose specified in § 67.101 (hh) of this Act and in conformity with an exemption granted under § 67.604. (b) The Attorney General may, by rule, waive the requirement for registration of certain importers and exporters if the Attorney General finds it consistent with the public health and safety, and may authorize any such importer or exporter to possess controlled substances for purposes of importation and exportation.
