International Residential Code Adopted

The International Residential Code, 2009 edition, including Appendices A, B, C, D, G, I, J, K, M, O, P, and Q, as published by the International Code Council, is hereby adopted as amended. SOURCE: Added by P.L. 30-199:4 (Sept. 21, 2010). 2021 NOTE: P.L. 35-145 (Jan. 22, 2021) adopted the new Guam Tropical Energy Code. Section 5 of this public law provided for the following amendments to the International Residential Code, 2009 edition, as adopted pursuant to 21 GCA § 67101.5: “N1101.2 Compliance. Compliance shall be demonstrated by either meeting the requirements of the 2017 Guam Tropical Energy Code as approved by the Guam Building Code Council on February 25, 2020 or meeting the requirements of this Chapter.”
