The Council shall be made up of the following members, who shall elect the Chairperson of the Council: (a) the Guam Department of Agriculture; (b) the University of Guam; (c) the Bureau of Statistics and Plans; (d) the Guam Waterworks Authority; (e) the Guam Environmental Protection Agency; (f) the Department of Public Works; (g) Department of Land Management; (h) the Southern Guam Soil and Water Conservation District; (i) the U.S. Department of Agriculture; (j) the Mayor of Hågat; (k) the Mayor of Humåtak; (l) the Mayor of Inalåhan; (m) the Mayor of Sånta Rita-Sumai; (n) the Mayor of Talo’fo’fo; (o) the Mayor of Malesso’; (p) the Mayor of Yona; (q) representatives of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, or any other relevant federal agency invited by the Chairperson of the Council to participate in the work of the Southern River Erosion Council; and (r) three (3) representatives of private landowners along the Talo’fo’fo’ River, the Ugum River, the Namo River, the Manenggon River, or any other river in southern Guam experiencing serious erosion problems. ARTICLE 7 AGRICULTURAL LEASES [REPEALED]
2026 NOTE: This Article was added as uncodified law by P.L. 15-018:1-14 (April 18, 1979), and codified by the Compiler. P.L. 15-018:14 , codified as 21 GCA § 68714, provided that the entire article was to be “repealed upon the convening of the Chamorro Land Trust Commission.” This Article was repealed by operation of law when the commission held its first meeting in March 1993. Past print publications of the GCA had retained Article 7 “for

reference in dealing with those leases which remain outstanding on the date of repeal”; however, in light of the passage of time since the repeal, and to avoid confusion, this Article will no longer be included in the GCA.
ARTICLE 8 GOVERNMENT SUBDIVISIONS
