A person present in court, or before a judicial officer, or before any body or person authorized to issue subpoenas, may be required to testify in the same manner as if he were in attendance upon a subpoena issued by such court of officer. COMMENT: This Section has been expanded to make the same provisions applicable in court applicable to any other proceeding (usually administrative) wherein the body or officer could compel attendance by subpoena.
