Barber’s Endorsements

Endorsements for barber shops must be obtained by any person who operates a business, or holds himself out, for the purpose of shaving, trimming or cutting the hair or beard of any person. Such required endorsements are: (a) Health Certificate issued by the Department of Public Health & Social Services pertaining to the cleanliness and sanitation of the place of business; (b) Health Certificate from the Department of Public Health & Social Services for each person employed and working in the place of business.
