SOURCE: G.P.C. §§ 666, 667; *M.P.C. § 6.09. CROSS-REFERENCES: §§ 80.40, 80.42 - Extended terms, criteria. COMMENT: § 80.36 sets the limit upon the maximum extended terms which may be imposed pursuant to §§ 80.40 or 80.42. It should be noted that no authority to impose a minimum term is provided, hence the authority to fix a release date lies with the Parole Board.
