Increment(s) to be Included in Calculating Retirement Annuity

Any government of Guam Employee who elects to apply for retirement shall be authorized to add in the increment(s) which such employee would have received if the freeze mandated by Public Law 23-014 had not been in effect. For purposes of this section, the government of Guam Salary and Increment Schedule shall be the basis for determining the amount of the increment(s) to be used for computation. The employee shall pay to the Retirement Fund the employer’s and employee’s contribution on the salary increment. SOURCE: Added by P.L. 23-128:IV:3 (Dec. 12, 1996).
