Limitations on the Use of Electronic Mail (e-mail)

by Registered Sex Offenders. (a) Any person required to register as a sex offender pursuant to the provisions of this Chapter shall include identifying information in the “reply to” and/or “sender” and/or “from” field(s) in any e-mail account established and used by the registered sex offender. For purposes of this Section, identifying information means the user’s first name, middle initial(s) and last name. Any violation of this paragraph is a third degree felony. (b) Any e-mail address created by a registered sex offender shall be submitted, physically or electronically, to the Superior Court within ten (10) days of the creation of such account.
