Correctional Institutions. The Director is authorized to enter into one or more contracts with the Attorney General of the United States pursuant to the authority granted to the Attorney General of the United States by Title 18, United States Code, § 5003, for the custody, care, subsistence, education, treatment and training in one or more Federal correctional institutions, of persons convicted of criminal offenses in the courts of Guam; provided, that any such contract shall provide for the reimbursement of the United States in full for all costs or other expenses incurred by the United States for such custody, care, subsistence, education, treatment and training; and provided further, that the Director shall comply with the relevant provisions of §§ 90.46 through 90.48 inclusive of this Code prior to the physical transfer of any such person to a Federal correctional institution.
