[§142-50] Definitions. As used in this part:

"Brand" means a design that is permanently impressed on the hide of an animal by burning with acid, a chemical compound, or a hot iron.

"Mark" means a design that is cut into or from the ear, dewlap, or other part of an animal. [L 2025, c 235, pt of §6]
