20-1018. NOTICE OF granted PARDON, COMMUTATION, OR REMISSION OF FINES AND FORFEITURES. When, by action of the commission or the governor, a pardon, commutation, or remission of fines and forfeitures is granted as provided by law, the executive director shall: (1) Retain an original pardon, commutation, or remission of fines and forfeitures document at the commission; (2) File a copy of the original pardon, commutation, or remission of fines and forfeitures document in the office of the secretary of state; (3) Provide an original pardon, commutation, or remission of fines and forfeitures document to the individual petitioner; (4) File notice with the state courts, in a manner approved by the supreme court, that a pardon, commutation, or remission of fines and forfeitures has been granted in the case; and (5) Provide such additional notice that a pardon, commutation, or remission of fines and forfeitures has been granted as the commission may adopt by rule.
