19-4207. Application for writ of habeas corpus on behalf of another. [effective until January 1, 2027] A petition for writ of habeas corpus may only be filed by a person described in section 19-4203, Idaho Code, or his attorney, except that a petition may be filed on behalf of an aggrieved person who is a minor, or on behalf of a person who is incapacitated as defined by section 15-5-101, Idaho Code, by the aggrieved person’s legal guardian.
