(225 ILCS 407/30-7)     (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2030)     Sec. 30-7. Department; powers and duties.     (a) The Department shall exercise the powers and duties prescribed by the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois for the administration of licensing acts and shall exercise such other powers and duties as are prescribed by this Act. The Department may contract with third parties for services necessary for the proper administration of this Act.     (b) The Department shall have the authority to audit or inspect any electronic or physical record, account, document, book, form, or file required to be created or maintained by this Act. The Department may adopt rules and establish necessary requirements for the implementation of this subsection (b). (Source: P.A. 104-746, eff. 7-31-26.)
