(625 ILCS 5/1-205.5) (This Section may contain text from a Public Act with a delayed effective date) Sec. 1-205.5. Toy vehicle. Any battery powered ride-on toy that (i) is designed to not exceed 10 miles per hour, (ii) includes any number of wheels or handlebars or a steering wheel and a seat or platform, and (iii) is designed for children under 8 years of age, including, but not limited to, products marketed under the brand names of "Razor" or "Power Wheels" and other similar products.
