"Dependent"

Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, "dependent" means a child: (1) born before or during the period during which the child's father was a prisoner of war or person missing in action; or (2) legally adopted or in the legal custody of the child's father before and during the period during which the father was a prisoner of war or person missing in action.
