Department approval necessary for confined feeding

operations Sec. 1. (a) A person may not start: (1) construction of a confined feeding operation; or (2) expansion of a confined feeding operation that increases: (A) animal capacity; or (B) manure containment capacity; or (C) both; without obtaining the prior approval of the department.
