Sec. 2.1. (a) The department shall adopt and make available a policy concerning the award of grants under section 2 of this chapter. (b) The policy must include the following considerations: (1) No private sector services will be displaced if an equipment grant is awarded. (2) The economic need of the district must be a consideration in awarding a grant. As added by P.L.45-1997, SEC.10.
