Lien; discharge and satisfaction

Sec. 17. Upon: (1) the recording of the certificate of discharge as a release under section 15 of this chapter; and (2) the inscribing of the references to the release under section 16 of this chapter; a certificate of discharge of a lien arising under section 11 of this chapter operates as a full discharge and satisfaction of the lien unless the references to the release inscribed under section 15 of this chapter specifically note the release as a partial lien release.
