"Aquifer" defined

Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, "aquifer" means an underground geologic formation that: (1) is consolidated or unconsolidated; and (2) has the ability to receive, store, and transmit water in amounts sufficient for the satisfaction of any beneficial use.
