New petition; filing

Sec. 30. If a petition is dismissed: (1) because the court finds the evidence does not support the petition according to section 26 of this chapter; or (2) according to section 15 of this chapter; a new petition may not be addressed to any court to establish a district with essentially the same boundaries for any of the same purposes for two (2) years after the date of the order dismissing the petition. However, a petition dismissed for want of jurisdiction, including an insufficient number of signatures, may be refiled at any time after the correction of the jurisdictional defect.
